What tumor models should be used for immunotherapy? (mouse syngeneic cancer models for immunotheray)

Syngeneic mouse cancer models are particularly valuable for studying immune response in cancer mice that need to be evaluated in a syngeneic environment, such as an immunotherapy targeting cancer metastasis. If you need mouse models for immune therapy, for the purpose of immune response, the mice used must be immune competent, the following tumor models are extensively used for immunotherapy.

Melanoma model:

  1. B16 melanoma in C57BL/6 mice
  2. K1735 melanoma in C3H/HeN mice

    Subcutaneous fibrosarcoma model:

             UV2237 fibrosarcoma in C3H/HeN mice

    Colon Cancer Model:

CT26 colon cancer in Balb/C mice

    Breast Cancer Model:

4T1 breast cancer in Balb/C mice

    Renal Cancer Model:

RENCA renal cell carcinoma in Balb/C

    Prostate Cancer Model:

               TRAMP in C57BL/6 mice

    Lung Cancer Model:

LLC (Lewis lung cell carcinoma), 3LL-Boston in C57BL/6
L1C2 (alveolar carcinoma cells) in Balb/C
