Aseptic technique

Although mice are quite resistant to bacteria infection after surgery, aseptic technique should always be observed. The hair should be removed, the site surgically prepared, and the instruments and any other material in contact with the surgical incision should be sterile. Operator should wear nurse cap, mask, sterile gown (Tyvek Disposable Coveralls) and gloves.
